Clipper oil and aerosol spray at the station

Most stations already have a small plastic bottle of mineral oil sitting near the cord. That bottle has its place for the mechanics of the motor, but lubricating the slide does not address hygiene between clients. We make Clippercide as one 15 oz aerosol can to handle sanitation and blade maintenance together.

The single job of standard blade oil

Oil does one mechanical job on a clipper. A drop placed on the moving blade reduces friction against the stationary rail, which helps the drive motor run without binding during a heavy cut.

That drop of oil cannot sanitize steel. Mineral oil does not kill germs, it cannot flush out packed hair without a separate brush, and it offers no hospital-grade disinfection between clients.

Five jobs handled by one aerosol can

Our 5-in-1 formula works as an EPA-registered disinfectant that is bactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal and tuberculocidal, proven to kill HIV-1 and TB. That covers the hygiene side of the service.

The high-pressure spray blows hair and debris out from between the teeth while reducing heat and friction. It leaves a thin lubricant film that keeps blades running smoother, quieter and free of rust.

Using both products without overlap

These two supplies are not rivals at the chair. Oil belongs to the mechanical upkeep recommended by your clipper manufacturer, while our spray is the step used directly on blades after each use.

Spraying the teeth after a cut keeps tools within strict health and safety standards between services. The aerosol handles the hot metal and trapped bulk hair before the next person sits in your chair.

Directions for full contact time

To achieve what the label calls full hospital-grade disinfection, spray the product directly onto the blades after each use. The metal surfaces must stay visibly wet for 5 to 10 minutes.

Wipe off any remaining excess fluid after that contact window passes. The spray leaves behind a light protective film, but it will not repair or sharpen teeth that are already chipped or dull.
